The Hotwire TDM SDSL solution offers endpoints to connect customers to high-speed TDM services. The Hotwire 7976 TDM SDSL Endpoints are designed with a G.703 interface. The G.703 interface is designed to carry 2.048 Mbps. The TDM SDSL endpoint power supply is both +24 V DC and -48 V DC compatible, allowing the unit to be directly powered at the CO or at cell sites. An optional AC power supply, homologated worldwide, is also available. Hotwire TDM SDSL products are equipped with an autorate capability that identifies the maximum line rate supported by the copper loop. This powerful automatic configuration capability makes installation and service provisioning simple and painless. Further flexibility is provided in the ability to manually set the maximum endpoint speed at different levels for different customer-tailored service offerings, even though the line will run faster. A uniquely designed 16 Kbps embedded operations channel (EOC) provides non-intrusive functions such as firmware and configuration file downloads to the TDM SDSL endpoints.
