The Z-3080 CCD Barcode Scanner is a multi-interface, rugged design, with an advanced optical system with long life LED's, and no moving parts. The CCD scanner is extremely easy to use, and will auto-discriminate between most linear barcode symbologies. The Scanner includes a rich set of programmable features, including 10 bytes programmable header/trailer options, Function key emulation, hands-free scanning mode etc. The Scanner has a field replaceable detachable cable. The Z-3080 series scanners are GTIN and Sunrise 2005 compliant. The ZEBEX Z-3080 is ideal for Point of Sale, Library, Health Clubs and a host of other bar code related applications. The scanner and cables carry a one (1) year limited warranty against defects and workmanship. The Z-3080 CCD Bar Code Scanner with Keyboard-Wedge Interface is installed (wedged) between the Personal Computer and the keyboard of your computer by using the cable provided on the scanner. The cable will facilitate the simultaneous use of the scanner and the keyboard. The bar code scanner will process and transmit the bar code data as if it were typed on the keyboard. When the scanner is not in use the keyboard will operate normally. The keyboard interface cable includes an adapter cable that allows the scanner to easily connect to either a 6 pin mini DIN (PS/2 style) or 5 pin DIN (AT style) keyboard port. The scanner is compatible with IBM-PC using Win XP-Pro, Win XP-Home, Win-2000, Win-ME, Win-98SE and DOS. FEATURES: Durable trigger switch plus many kinds of scanning modes to choose from. With 80mm (3.15in) window will read barcode labels up to 80mm (3.15in) of width, scanning by approaching or touching the labels.
