Transition Networks' RS422/485 Copper to Fiber Media Converter is available in both stand-alone and slide-in-module form factors; allowing you to connect serial ports at distances of up to 2000 meters over multimode or 20 km over single mode fiber cable at speeds up to 500Kbits per second. Connect devices, such as security scanners, POS devices and remote terminals, to a host computer. This converter is ideal for campus environments where remote devices can be networked in a point-to-point configuration.
