Alvarion BreezeACCESS II Subscriber Unit SU-E-1D1V-2.4 - Wireless bridge voice card
The BreezeACCESS II Broadband Wireless Access system operates worldwide in the license-free ISM band delivering high-speed wireless Internet access. Utilizing the unlicensed 2.4 GHz band permits use of the spectrum without the expense of buying or applying for a license, allowing ISPs to quickly enter and compete in the market at relatively low costs. With an exceptionally low initial investment, BreezeACCESS II is the ideal solution for new operators wanting to build their customer base. Once the wireless infrastructure is in place, it can be scaled upward to support thousands of subscribers per cell. The BreezeACCESS II Subscriber Units connect PCs, Ethernet equipment and regular telephones at the customer premises. This Subscriber Unit is comprised of an indoor desktop or wall-mountable unit and an outdoor unit. A coaxial cable connects the two units and serves for the transmission of data as well as for transferring power, management and control signals from the indoor unit to the outdoor unit.
