The Avaya VSU 5 extends the line of award-winning Avaya VPN Service Units (VSU) and Firewall security appliances by providing a product that can meet the requirements of enterprises and service providers who are deploying VPN security for small and home office broadband Internet connections. The VSU 5 provides a comprehensive suite of integrated security services including IPSec VPN, firewall, authentication, NAT and QoS, yet it is relatively simple and cost-effective to install, support and manage. It also can enable increased worker productivity by providing secure access to the corporate voice network, applications and resources, which is important in today's Customer Economy. The VSU 5 provides a web interface that can reduce installation complexity by providing a simple and intuitive interface that may allow a typical user with limited knowledge to install the product. The web interface also provides straightforward user troubleshooting capabilities. If the user is unable to solve his or her problem, a central administrator can make a remote diagnosis over a secure connection.
