The Fast Serial Interface Processor (FSIP) provides four or eight high-speed serial ports (up to 6.132 Mbps). Each FSIP comes with a default dual-port port adapter, PA-7KF-SPA. The 4-port FSIP (CX-FSIP4) comes with two dual-port port adapters, which can support X.21, EIA/TIA-449, EIA/TIA-232, V.35, or EIA-530.
