The Data Express DE400 allows up to four low-profile Serial ATA (SATA) or Parallel ATA (Ultra ATA/133 or PATA) drives to be installed into any three 5.25 inch, half-height, system-internal or external device bays, and then conveniently removed or interchanged separately as required by the user. The DE400 receiving frame has a patent-pending feature making it compatible with either PATA or SATA DE400 removable drive carriers, so users can continue to benefit from this product as system requirements evolve. The non-proprietary DE400 design is ideal for internal server RAID and JBOD applications.
