CRU DataPort V plus - Storage drive carrier (caddy) - black
The DataPort V plus is designed for hard disk drives operating at 7200 rpm and above. It has a cast aluminum alloy metal frame and carrier, which provides excellent thermal management and reduces operating temperatures by up to 30%. The DataPort V plus supports IDE ATA-133, Ultra Narrow SCSI, Ultra2 Wide SCSI (LVD) and Ultra160 interfaces. Standard features included a dual ball-bearing cooling fan with CRU's patented Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS), gold-plated DIN connectors, and key lock security. It is the most cost-effective, high-performance system in the CRU line of DataPort products. This DataPort (cast aluminum carrier separate) has been designed to work with select models of Compaq, Gateway, Micron, and Dell computers, which require a narrow (142mm) bezel instead of the standard (148mm) bezel.
