USB CNUSB-04 - Hub - 4 ports - USB - USB
In addition to being able to support up to 127 peripherals, the CNUSB-04 allow peripherals connected to PCs using Windows 98 or Apple's iMac to transmit data up to 100 times faster than possible with serial connections. These Hubs offer both Full-Speed and Low-Speed transmission capabilities, depending on the cable used (twisted-pair or untwisted-pair). Full-Speed transmissions allow link distances up to five meters, providing the greatest versatility when placing peripherals To maximize energy efficiency, these Hubs can automatically set themselves to operate in self-powered mode or bus-powered mode. When an external power supply is sensed, either Hub will automatically switch to its self-powered mode. In self-powered mode, up to 500mA is available for attached devices (such as printers or scanners). When connected to devices with low power demands, these Hubs provide their own bus power. In just a few seconds, the CNUSB-04 and CNUSB-07 can be cascaded to provide up to 127 ports whenever additional ports are needed. Each Hub provides Downstream ports for connecting peripherals, as well as an "B" Upstream port for cascading to another USB Hub or connecting with the host computer.
