Sony Extended Service Plan Equipment Exchange - Extended service agreement - replacement - 1 year - on-site
Sony knows that data is one of the most important assets of your business. To help protect that data and keep your downtime to a minimum, Sony offers extended service plans which give you the flexibility to customize your service coverage as you need it. Under the Equipment Exchange level of service Sony exchanges defective tape libraries and file servers with a configured and tested replacement unit within one business day after receiving an exchange request. The customer is responsible for installing the replacement unit (which will either be a new or reconditioned unit, at Sony's discretion) and returning the defective equipment to Sony within five business days. Sony provides a pre-paid self-addressed label in the replacement equipment's shipping container for the customer's use when returning the defective unit.
