The adapter plates in this 20-pack mount in 3Com NJ100 or NJ200 Network Jacks when you need additional connectivity for analog voice, dedicated networks, separate VoIP, or special purposes. Each adapter plate allows one or two additional connections to be terminated in the same wall outlet as the 10/100 Mbps LAN downlink. These extra "pass-through" connections do not interact with the network jack switch.
