Sony Equipment Exchange Service - Extended service agreement - replacement - 1 year - shipment
Under the Equipment Exchange level of service Sony exchanges defective tape libraries and file servers with a configured and tested replacement unit, which will be shipped within one (1) business day after receiving an exchange request. The customer is responsible for installing the replacement unit (which will either be a new or reconditioned unit, at Sony's discretion) and returning the defective equipment to Sony within five (5) business days. Sony provides a pre-paid self-addressed label in the replacement equipment's shipping container for the customer's use when returning the defective unit. This service is applicable to LIB-162/A3 AIT Library with 1 AIT-3 Drive.
