ZoomAir 4117 - Network adapter - USB - 802.11b
The ZoomAir Wireless USB Client provides a fast, flexible networking connection with un-matched ease of installation and use. Simply plug the Model 4117 into a computer's USB port, run the installation software and you are ready to connect to any industry-standard 802.11b wireless network. The USB interface provides Plug and Play installation and eliminates the need to open a computer case. The small size of the Model 4117 makes it suitable for use with either a desktop or portable computer. And the USB client is powered from the USB port of the PC, which eliminates the clutter of an AC adapter or the need to carry a bulky adapter. The Model 4117 uses an advanced radio design and an adjustable external antenna to provide superior range and data speeds in a wide range of installations. The maximum indoor range of the Model 4117 is typically 300 feet. The data rate is up to 11 Mbps, which provides the speed needed for network applications like high-speed Internet sharing, printer sharing, multi-player gaming and file exchanges. The Model 4117 provides the highest level of security specified by the 802.11b wireless standard, with up to 128 bit Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP).
