This controller conforms to UltraATA/100 specification with full backward support for UltraATA66/33, EIDE/Fast ATA-2 IDE hard disk drives. Bus mastering reduces I/O processing load on CPU to increase the system performance. It auto-detects device type and fine tunes to the best performance for each connected IDE device. This controller achieves high-speed data transfer rates up to 100MB/sec. It supports drive capacities up to 128GB, and also supports RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), and RAID 0+1 (mirror+striping) modes.
