Matching Overland's Neo Series of libraries to existing High Voltage Differential SCSI systems is made simple with the VIA High Voltage Option (HVO) card. The HVO card is your generation bridge for Neo Series libraries to the installed base of High Voltage Differential SCSI based servers and systems. The HVO card was designed to fit into one of the Virtual Interface Architecture bays built into all LibraryXpress Neo Series libraries providing a simple seamless way to attach or share your Neo Series library. VIA's CPCI based architecture provides a new level of integration, simplification and scalability when using the HVO card to solve legacy SCSI issues. The host Neo Series library supplies power and cooling for the HVO card by means of the VIA bay. Software transparency provides for a simple migration path for enterprise servers, as new tape technologies using LVD SCSI become available. The HVO card is a plug and play SCSI-to-SCSI converter card requiring no configuration. Simply plug and play. With an 80 MB/second maximum transfer rate the HVO card meets the performance demands of even the fastest HVD SCSI system. Ideal for sharing Neo Series libraries between new LVD based servers and existing HVD servers providing a centralized cost effective backup consolidation solution. HVD SCSI attachment is a breeze with the on board high-density 68-pin SCSI type connector. The LVD SCSI bus connector conforms to the VHDCI (Very High Density Cable Interconnect) 68 style used for all native SCSI connections on Neo Series libraries. The HVO card offers true investment protection by allowing you to purchase a Neo Series library that will cost effectively connect to today's HVD and LVD SCSI systems while still remaining flexible enough to simultaneously support Fiber Channel and future interfaces.
